PLACE OF WORSHIP
Along with sensitive alterations to the existing building to improve accessibility and capacity, we proposed a large extension that will provide socialising and classroom space, allowing the Cornerstone Church, to reach out to the local community.
The extension features contemporary materials, including recycled cladding, sustainable timber and a green roof. Large areas of glazing improve permeability of the façade, creating a more welcoming building.
Surrounding the site are raised planting beds to be used as herb gardens for local residents to enjoy.
