This project involved the conversion and detailed design of an existing school building in Northumberland, transforming a disused and dilapidated structure into a vibrant new nursery environment.

Our team was appointed to deliver a comprehensive design and tender package to support a funding bid. Working to a fast-paced programme, we developed a thoughtful and practical design that reimagines the building for early years education.

The proposed design includes a new internal layout to enhance learning and play, improved accessibility throughout, and the introduction of a secure outdoor garden and play area. Together, these elements create a welcoming and inclusive setting that supports both learning and development for young children.
