PADEL COURT

Indoor Padel Court Facility – Sports & Leisure Design

This project is a premium, contemporary indoor padel facility in the Northumberland, bringing together sport, hospitality, and social space into a single, cohesive venue.

Reportedly the first Padel facility in Northumberland the scheme is focused on creating a destination — not just a place to play, but a space where people come to watch, socialise, and spend time.

As architects, interior designers, and project managers, we are delivering a complete design service, coordinating the layout, user experience, and technical delivery of the entire facility.

Padel Court Design & Spatial Strategy

The building is organised around a series of indoor padel courts within a contemporary industrial sports hall, with clear sightlines and a strong visual connection between playing and social areas.

Spectator seating and circulation spaces are carefully positioned to allow views across the courts, creating an engaging and active environment throughout the building.

The layout supports both casual users and organised play, ensuring the venue operates efficiently while maintaining a high-quality experience for visitors.

Hospitality & Social Spaces

A key part of the design is the integrated bar, reception, and social area, which overlooks the courts and acts as the heart of the venue.

This space is designed to feel warm and inviting, using timber, feature lighting, and layered materials to contrast with the industrial shell of the building. The aim is to create a venue that works equally well for spectators, players, and social gatherings, extending dwell time and overall commercial viability.

Atmosphere & User Experience

Lighting plays a central role in the project, particularly for evening use. A combination of functional court lighting and softer ambient lighting creates a dynamic environment that transitions from daytime sport to evening social space.

The result is a padel venue that feels like a destination, supporting both high-performance play and a relaxed, social atmosphere.
